Think repair before replace
Glassolutions operates a repair first philosophy. We would always look to repair before replacing, thus reducing the indemnity cost to the Insurer on frame damaged claims, which represents circa 25% of all items damaged but 45% of all item costs.
To ensure our clients maximise the benefit of our services, we provide Repair Initiative Training to assist claims handlers in making an informed decision on claims where customers have submitted a replacement quote with a view to cash settle. This means repair costs can be factored into the cash settlement process or Glassolutions can be appointed to complete repairs.
One supplier for every door and window
Glassolutions provides an unrivalled breadth of glazing services. This means we can repair and replace windows and doors in whatever material is manufactured from – mostly PVCu, aluminium or timber.
Working closely with loss adjusters
As a member of CILA (Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters), Glassolutions provides loss adjusters with guidance and support to enable them to maximise the benefits of a single, nationwide window and door repairer and replacer.
Post-consumer glass recycling
Glassolutions collects all the waste glass from its window repairs carried out for insurance industry customers and reprocesses this into new high performance glass at the Saint-Gobain float glass plant in North Yorkshire. No other glazing supplier to the insurance industry is equipped to do this.
