Pedal power sees GLASSOLUTIONS support sponsored cycling event
GLASSOLUTIONS has helped raise £25k for charity by taking part in the 2017 ENGIE bike ride.
Commercial Sales Manager Andrew McCracken joined a team of 25 participants from ENGIE as well as some of their key suppliers to complete 230 miles by bike over three days between Edinburgh and Manchester.
Setting off from the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, the route took the team of cyclists through rural Scotland on day one and into Cumbria and the Lakes in day two before completing the journey at MediaCity in Manchester.
GLASSOLUTIONS was delighted to support the event organised by ENGIE, a leading electric utility company and one of our biggest reactive glazing customers.
Supporting communities to live well and to achieve their potential, the monies raised were all in aid of the ENGIE Chosen Charities - Macmillan, Mind and The Prince’s Trust. ENGIE has set a £75k charity fundraising target for 2017.
