New COOL-LITE SKN 176 II 4mm tops solar control performance

Glassolutions has introduced the new SGG COOL-LITE SKN 176 II 4mm glass to its range of solar control products giving commercial glazing installers even greater scope to balance internal comfort, energy efficiency and aesthetics.

SGG COOL-LITE SKN 176 II 4mm is a high quality glass which provides outstanding solar control, whilst at the same time providing the highest level of neutrality.
Adding to the already proven range of solar control products within the SGG COOL-LITE SKN range, this latest version is the most neutral 4mm glass on the market, achieving 70/37 combination with a selectivity of 1.89.

It offers:

Low solar factor (0.37) = reduced cooling loads and air conditioning costs within buildings
High light transmittance (70%) = helps to transmit a high amount of natural light through the glass
Achieves a U-value of 1.0 w/m2K (in a standard DGU with 16mm argon cavity) = ensures the heat from within the building stays inside to reduce heating requirements
